My cartoon!

So I got the best birthday card in history when my sister handed my an A2 piece of paper with a cartoon that she ha drawn. I actually cried when I read it! She has made me lots of motivational doodles and notes all with her trademark artwork on them, but this was so much more! She had been working on the Kaptain Cupcake cartoon for a while and it was just for me, about me! So who is my sister? She just 18months younger than me and a Arts student at UCT who has a long term love of anime and manga. Basically we’re like a balanced yin and yang of each other. It still surprises me that we went through the same Catholic all-girl schooling and I’m not sure when her dedicated love of multimedia design and manga came from? I did sport and she spend her time on her computer, that was a sum of our high school careers. Her amazing taste in music and awesome creative abilities and killer fashion sense, just means that I’m way cooler than I should be, a little bit of her awesomeness rubs off you see.
